Architecture – A Different Way of Living

The Architekturtage are a project of the Federal Chamber of Architects and Engineer Consultants and the Austrian Architectural Foundation

On June 1–2, 2012, the sixth biennial Architekturtage will take place in Austria. Come experience remarkable buildings, discover a host of architecture firms, and join our guided tours and excursions throughout Austria–and beyond! In each province, site visits, lectures, exhibitions, films, and art events have been organized under the theme of “A Different Way of Living.” Come explore the limits of the “extended living concept” – from the intimate and private to the public and representative. Building projects, generational living, living/working situations, and cafés-as-urban-living-rooms are brought together to provide new insights into current ways of living, as well as the opportunity to discover new concepts in the world of architecture.
